How are your plants shipped?

Your plant is grown in Florida, carefully packed to protect its roots and foliage, and shipped — usually within 1–4 business days, early in the week so it doesn't sit in transit over a weekend. You'll receive tracking once it's on the way.

What if my plant arrives damaged?

Every order is backed by our 48-hour live-arrival guarantee. If your plant arrives with a serious issue, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the plant and packaging and we'll help make it right.

Do you ship in cold weather?

Tropical plants don't like freezing temperatures. During colder months we watch timing and routes closely; if your area is having a hard freeze or cold snap, contact us before ordering and we'll advise on the safest time to ship.

Will my plant look exactly like the photos?

Each plant is unique, so the exact size, shape, leaf count and variegation will vary from the photos shown. You'll receive a healthy plant comparable to those pictured.

What arrives: your plant, rooted in soil in its 4" nursery pot. Pot size is the pot's diameter, not the plant's height — a larger pot generally means an older, larger plant. Live plants vary in height, fullness and leaf count.

Botanical Name : Euphorbia milii Common Names : Crown of Thorn, Christ plant, Christ's thorn Description : Crown of Thorns is a deciduous, herbaceous, perennial shrub with bright green leaves and greenish flowers. The flowers are enclosed within long-lasting and bright bracts of red or yellow. The plant is loose in form, spiny and irregularly shaped, with thick, black spines and its historic presence in the Middle East led to the belief by some that the stems of this plant had been used in Christ's crown of thorns, hence the common name. In its country of origin (Madagascar) the plant will grow to 5 or 6 feet tall; however, in the United States, it typically grows to 3 feet, or 2 feet when grown as a houseplant.
