Winter Plant Shipping Protection

Winter Plant Shipping Protection is an optional add-on that helps your plants travel safely through cold weather. Add it to your order during the colder months when you're shipping to an area where daytime temperatures drop below about 45°F.

What it includes: one or more multi-day heat packs, plus expedited shipping or insulated thermal liners when the forecast calls for it, and a cold-damage coverage on the protected order.

Do I need it? Heat packs are not included with orders automatically. If your delivery address sees daytime temperatures below about 45°F, add this protection so your plants ship with a heat pack (orders to areas below 45°F may also be held until it's safe to ship). It backs your order with our cold-damage coverage — if a protected plant still arrives cold-damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we'll make it right.
