Winter Plant Shipping Protection
Winter Plant Shipping Protection is an optional add-on that helps your plants travel safely through cold weather. Add it to your order during the colder months when you're shipping to an area where daytime temperatures drop below about 45°F.
What it includes: one or more multi-day heat packs, plus expedited shipping or insulated thermal liners when the forecast calls for it, and a cold-damage guarantee on the protected order.
Do I need it? During winter, orders heading to cold regions are already sent out with a heat pack, and orders to areas below 45°F may be held until it's safe to ship. This add-on upgrades that coverage for the coldest routes and backs your order with our cold-damage guarantee — if a protected plant still arrives cold-damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we'll make it right.
This is a shipping service applied to your order — not a plant or a separate item shipped on its own.
