Hoyas — also known as wax plants — are among the most collectible houseplants you can grow, and they reward a little patience with clusters of star-shaped, often fragrant blooms. Their thick, waxy leaves store water, so hoyas are surprisingly forgiving: they would rather be a touch too dry than too wet, which makes them a great low-maintenance choice for shelves, windowsills, and hanging baskets.
